Your shoots stay on your iPhone.
In effect from 15 October 2026. PuffyWings Studio ("we") makes Scripttake. PuffyWings Studio is the name under which Pascal Khazzoum, an independent developer based in the United Arab Emirates, publishes apps.
The short version. Scripttake does not collect your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your video, voice and scripts are processed on your iPhone and are never sent to us or to anyone else by the app.
What Scripttake does on your iPhone, and why

Each of these asks for your permission the first time, in plain words, and you can change your mind any time in Settings, Scripttake.
What leaves your iPhone
- Nothing from your shoots. Videos, audio, transcripts and scripts are never uploaded by Scripttake.
- Platform safe-zone updates. Scripttake may download a small public file of measurements for each platform's buttons and captions from our website. This is an ordinary web request, so the website's host sees your IP address and the app's name and version, as with any web request. The request carries nothing about you or your shoots, and we don't use these records to identify or track anyone.
- Purchases. If you buy Scripttake Pro, Apple handles the payment and the subscription. We never see your name, email or payment details. Apple gives us summary sales reports only.
- What you choose to share. When you save to Photos or send a video with the share sheet, it goes where you choose. The policy of that app or service then applies.
Who else is involved
Scripttake has no third-party code that collects data: no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no social login. The only outside services are those built into iOS (the camera, speech, Vision, Apple Intelligence, Photos and the App Store).
What we keep
We keep nothing about you, because we never receive anything. We have no servers that hold your data and no way to look at your shoots.
Deleting your data
You are in control. Swipe a shoot to the left and tap Delete to remove it with its takes and exports, or delete Scripttake to remove everything it stores. Your scripts and settings are part of the app's data and can be included in iPhone backups. Recorded takes are kept out of backups to save space. If you use an iPhone backup, deleting the app removes the data from the iPhone but not from older backups; those are managed in Settings, your name, iCloud.
Children
Scripttake collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold none of your personal data, there is nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct or erase. If you have a question or believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will answer.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. Our web host may keep ordinary server logs for security and to keep the site running.
Changes to this policy
If Scripttake ever needs to collect anything, we will change this page, update the date above, and tell you in the app before it happens. We would never start collecting data silently.
